Magic Bubble

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

While my older children probably won’t admit to it now, they use to LOVE “Bubble Magic”.

Bubble Magic was a great visual aid for my children when they had any fears, anxieties, worries, or it was New Years and they wanted to make some “wishes” in the New Year…

When my children were younger, like all children their age they had some fears and anxieties about certain things. It could be anything from, joining a new activity, making friends, starting the new school year, worried about school work, etc.

Being so young sometimes it’s hard for our children to understand what we are trying to tell them, or for us as the adults to understand them. I also wanted my children to be able to express themselves in a way they felt comfortable. This is where “Magic Bubble” came in handy…

You can do this whenever, and where ever you like. All you need is some bubble mixture!

The idea is that the children talk about their fear, anxiety, wish etc and for each “feeling/wish” they blow a bubble and watch it get carried away…

Is the wish being carried away to the fairies to grant? Is the fear/anxiety being carried far away?

Its great way of getting your children to communicate and a great way to help address any issues you children might be having.
